With the new embeded Items Feature the limit of 2Mb per maps is now a bit short...

For exemple for an Royal Map with a cost around 20/25k (not huge for a royal/siege map) and with items the maps can now easily go around 2.5Mb


Is there a way to check a box on map mx options to say if we have used the feature on map and have something like 0.5Mb ???

Or a something to link an url (of the map that the player have upload on his own dropbox/server...) instead of uploading the map in mx servers

Maps must be 2MB or less to work online + embedded objects cant not take more than 150Kb so far as what I read.

infact the quota is 150Kb of different object but you can place them multiple time... If i place 3x and 150kb item it will take more place....

That's really bad because for example this map isn't really huge

Now that ManiaPlanet 4 is out...

The map size limit is now 4MB.
Embedded object max size is 1MB.
