PTP - betas always lose the girl
I've been trying to remake blood gulch from halo 1

I've tried to make it true to the original.. or at least as best i can
only problem is rockets suck balls at long range
and there's no vehicles
or teleporters

it's entirely possible that some of these issues could be fixed with scripts
_________
also, they really need to move jump and sprint to separate buttons
it's really awkward and it's not like 3 buttons is all that different from 2

most decent mouses come with 5+ buttons anyway

agreed, the sprint button needs to atleast be moved to something like the left shift key or something

you also have to wait till the community wants to make those scripts, which might be a few months after sm is released maybe sooner, maybe later than that.

That the sprint key is on the same key as jump has a purpose.

And imo it doesn´t do that much if you sprint unless its TA track. or you are in the tunnels.

Jump on a platform
Change directions in midair
Press stamina (sprint) as you're coming down
Take off in that direction very quickly when you land.

and whats wrong with just turning and pushing a stam key without turning, especially with the fact that the stam bar has to recharge after using it...

There's a price to pay for using stamina. That price is a jump or a drop. If timed right you won't leave yourself that vulnerable while airborne. That highly depends on the map design as well. It works really well if you give it the chance.

I agree sprint and jump should be separate buttons.

The community really needs to pull their fingers out of their arses to make this a good game, because as it stands it's not great. Whats wrong with a shotgun?

but why can't the price be reduced weapon recharge, or once you run out of stam you stop running, or both? Because Nadeo is afraid that SM might become like "ever other fps" which causes the those of us that are into fps games to go back to "every other fps" while the niche fps group still plays SM.

My new nickname for you is NBC, you know... like the television network.

It stands for Never Bought the Concept. (brb)
