 Map uploading is working again
by   eyebo at 17 Nov, 2018
After the ManiaPlanet 4.1 update yesterday, we had some issues with map uploads.

We've fixed those and also the old error you were getting when uploading maps.

And you'll notice map screenshots for the showcases now shows the correct Shootmania map, instead of a Trackmania one.
There's currently an issue with uploading new maps. We're aware of the issue and working on it.

Sorry for the inconvenience.
Passing this along, for anyone who hasn't seen it yet. Please take a few minutes to fill it out.

Nadeo says:
Help us to improve Trackmania/Shootmania free access by answering a few questions. It takes less than 4 minutes.

Nadeo says:
Aidez-nous à améliorer l'accès gratuit à Trackmania/Shootmani en répondant à quelques questions. Cela prend moins de 4 minutes.

Server lists in-game are currently down, as is the Channels system.

The ManiaPlanet Player Page is also experiencing problems. This means you may not be able to login to MX, since we use their system for authentication.

In the meantime, you can still use the old login system here on MX to login to your account.

Update: Everything is working good again. Thanks Nadeo!
Hello,

You might have noticed the Trackmania side of Mania Exchange is extremely slow right now, if not completely unresponsive. We're aware of the issue and working to fix it as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience!

Site is working again, for now. We're monitoring the situation.

Kind regards,
ManiaExchange Crew

Introducing Mania Tech Wiki.

Xymph says:
This site aims to document technical aspects of, and technology in, the games in the Mania series by Nadeo (ok, and Virtual Skipper too). It is a very small wiki now, and because of its nature is likely to remain quite small too. Nonetheless, interested contributors are now invited to sign up and start adding relevant information.

More info in the forums.
There's now a Gameversion filter on the search page. This can help you find MP4 or Pre-MP4 maps more easily. It's also aiding us in finding the maps that still need to be upgraded.

Over the past weeks we've been methodically going through every titlepack and updating all the maps on the site.

As of today, June 13, 2017, nearly 75% of the 14300 maps on the site are upgraded to MP4.
